Didier Galas
DIDIER GALAS is interested in the revelation of the body on stage. A passion that takes him from the West to the East, and from acting to directing. Advocating a theatre in the city, his approach finds a poetic expression inspired by the poet François Rabelais, and a political commitment in the image of the personage Ahmed, invented by the philosopher Alain Badiou. In 2014, he founded the company Les Hauts Parleurs with artist Jean-François Guillon. He presented Ahmed revient at the Festival d’Avignon 2018 and La Vérité sur Pinocchio at the TNP- Villeurbanne in 2016. He initiated a Rabelais theatre cycle at the Centre Pompidou-Paris in 2006; at the Festival Mettre en scène TNB-Rennes in 2012; at the Auditorium du Louvre-Paris in 2014; at the Scène Thélème-Paris in 2017). Rien ne va plus at the Devinière is the culmination of this work.
