Jean-François Guillon

JEAN-FRANÇOIS GUILLON has been developing work for the past twenty years involving the written text into play: sculptures, drawings, visual poems and minimalist devices designed for exhibitions or interventions in urban space. The art centre Le 19 in Montbéliard (2013), the Contexts gallery in Paris (2014) and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs have hosted the artist’s creations. The Thaddaeus Ropac-Pantin gallery (Jeune Création in 2016), the Laure Roynette gallery (Paris) in 2018, the Nuit de la Philosophie (Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2018, UNESCO in 2019) have all featured his performances. He will exhibit in 2020 at the Centre d’art Jean Cocteau (Les Lilas), and will occasionally make an intervention in the city. He has been collaborating with Didier Galas since 2007.
